MEETING ROOM ARRANGEMENTS / SEATING PLANS Meetings, retreats and other events at The Buxton inn may be unlike any others you have planned or attended due primarily to the physical uniqueness of this facility. The main building, where all meeting and dining facilities are located, was built in 1812, over 185 years ago! In 1972, the current owners restored this historic landmark with authentic, period design in mind. For that reason, our meeting and dining rooms don't have the standard floor to ceiling accordion dividers, large round tables and acres of blank wall space. Instead, these rooms possess the authentic charm of the early part of the 19th century. Some of our meeting and dining rooms are long and narrow and some are small and square, all according to the original floor plans of the Inn as it was constructed almost two centuries ago. Because this facility is so unique, we always invite Meeting Planners out to tour the Inn in person. Simply call to make an appointment and we'll be happy to discuss possible room setups and locations for your group. |
